CONTROL YOUR ROBOT WITH ROBOPAL

This is a quick-start guide to programming your LEGO® MINDSTORMS® EV3RSTORM with the RoboPal App.

Compatibility

LEGO® MINDSTORMS® – We currently support EV3RSTORM only.

iPad/iPhone with iOS 9.0 or above.

Android with version 4.4 and up.

Create Your First Project

Choose LEGO EV3 Robot. Then, in the “Projects” section, you can start building something great. Click on “+” to start a new blank project.

Connect to the EV3

Since you’ve created your own project, why not see its result run on the Robot ?

To do so, first pair your app with the device using Bluetooth. Then click on the connection icon.

Configuration

LEGO® MINDSTORMS® comes with many sensors that you can make use of inside the app. To configure these sensors, add them inside the app matching the ports connected to the robot.

RoboPal Demo Ideas

When you open the “Projects” section, you’ll find some demos pre-installed on the app. Watch the image and YouTube video to understand the goal of the demo. Attached to each demo you will find attached a map that you can download and print in order to see a live demo of the programmed code running the robot. You will get inspired immediately so have fun playing and changing the demo goal as you wish to make it yours!
